Kip Tabb

Kip Tabb is a freelance journalist living on the Outer Banks. He has covered a wide range of community interest stories and true tales of the history of Coastal North Carolina as well as environmental and related topics for a number of publications. His articles have appeared in the Outer Banks Voice, Coastal Review Online and Milepost Magazine.

Insatiably curious about the history of the Outer Banks and it’s environment, to learn more about the area he has walked almost every trail in Kitty Hawk Woods, Nags Head Woods, the Currituck Banks Estuarine Reserve and Jockey’s Ridge State Park.

In addition to his writing, Kip plays mandolin and can strum a guitar.
